Sergio Bustamante Sermel Flamingo Sculpture

Sermel was founded in Mexico by artists Sergio Bustamante and Melquiades Preciado in the 1960s (Sermel is a combination of the first three letters in each artist's name). The group was known for producing brightly colored papier-mâché sculptures, mostly animal-themed like this tall, glossy drink of water.
