Charlotte Osterman

Charlotte Osterman’s prints are seen on the fashion runways of New York and her designs for interiors are at home in urban, country and coastal environments. A print and textile designer, Charlotte was print director at Diane von Furstenberg Studio where she led the textile design team for eight years, developing the color stories, textiles and prints for each collection. Since moving from New York, she designs prints and consults for well-known fashion companies. Creating her own line of fabrics, Charlotte brings to interiors the same distinctive and original use of color and pattern that she has expressed in fashion. This new collection of textiles for the home suggests Moroccan tiles or Matisse cut outs and includes inspired botanical motifs and a new take on lattice. These geometrics are subtle or bold—abstract florals both soft and bright. Colors refreshing for a new place or a new look. The natural fabrics are printed in the USA using non-toxic, water-based inks. Charlotte has a BFA in Graphic Design from California College of the Arts and has lived and worked on both coasts and traveled all over the globe. She now resides with her family in Sarasota.
