Ceramic Vase & Water Vessel by Bruno Gambone
Though originally from Italy and eventually returning there to carry on the legacy of his ceramicist father Guido, Bruno Gambone spent some time in New York in the 1960s, running in the same circles as Robert Rauschenberg, Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol. We would have loved to have been a fly on the wall! This Italian ceramic vase and water vessel from the 20th-century were rendered in glazed cream and chocolate, with hints of sand on the vase and teal on the water vessel.
Glazed cream ceramic handled water vessel with brown accents, 6 1/2 in. H., and a similar bottle vase, 7 in. H. | Both signed "Gambone, Italy" | Italian, 20th century | Good condition, no damage
